Hot Wheels Dodge Viper GTS-R

The Dodge Viper GTS-R was a famous racing variant of the Dodge Viper. This car was built by Dodge in cooperation with Chrysler, Oreca and Reynard Motor Sports.

While popular in the US racing circuit, the Dodge Viper GTS-R was known in Europe as the Chrysler Viper GTS-R. Only the names are different for the car model for both companies does not place any of their respective emblems or trademarks on the racing cars. You can only see the Viper GTS-R markings at the side of the racing car.

The Dodge GTS-R was unveiled in 1995 and started racing in 1996.For years, the Dodge Viper GTS-R won numerous racing events such as 24 Hours Nürburgring, Rolex 24 at Daytona, and the Spa 24 Hours races.

The first Hot Wheels die cast model of the the Viper GTS-R was part of the 2001 First Editions set. It came in a metallic red body and 5SP wheels.

The last version of this car appeared in the HW Performance set in 2011. This car was never been part of the Treasure Hunts series.

The yellow Dodge Viper GTS-R was part of the American Performance 5 pack from 2011. Aside from the Viper, part of this set includes:
